Iona's Lamont Jones has earned the StatSheet MAAC Player of the Week for the week ending February 6th. StatSheet's MAAC Freshman of the Week goes to Chavaughn Lewis from Marist. And finally, Sean Armand from Iona is the StatSheet MAAC 6th Man of the Week.

Jones was the MAAC leader in scoring (30.5 pts per game). He also registered huge numbers in rebounding (5 per game), shooting (60%), and three pointers (4 per game). The Iona junior played well in wins against Canisius and Manhattan.

Jones led scoring for the Gaels with 43 points while adding 3 steals in a 105-86 win over Canisius. He followed that up with 18 points and 6 rebounds in an 85-73 victory over Manhattan.

This is the first time this season that Lamont Jones has been selected StatSheet MAAC Player of the Week. However, he has received an honorable mention. The runner-up this week is senior Scott Machado from Iona. Honorable mention goes to Mike Glover, a senior from Iona. Jonathan Thompson was the highest ranking player from Rider, finishing 11th.

StatSheet MAAC Freshman of the Week: Marist's Chavaughn Lewis

Chavaughn Lewis averaged 28 minutes starting both games for Marist. In a 73-51 loss to Manhattan, Lewis led the Red Foxes in scoring with 11 points and added 3 assists. In an 80-69 win over Canisius, he dialed up 15 points and 3 assists.

This is the second StatSheet MAAC Freshman of the Week honor for Chavaughn Lewis. Emmy Andujar from Manhattan gets runner-up. Ameen Tanksley from Niagara receives honorable mention.

StatSheet MAAC 6th Man of the Week: Iona's Sean Armand

Sophomore Sean Armand, a 6-3 reserve guard, played an average of 21 minutes over the two games for the Gaels. In the win against Canisius, Armand put up 8 points and 3 rebounds. During the win against Manhattan, he racked up 14 points and 3 assists.

This is the first StatSheet MAAC 6th Man of the Week award for Sean Armand. Yvon Raymond, a junior guard from St. Peter's, is the runner up. Rhamel Brown, a sophomore forward/center from Manhattan, earns honorable mention. Rider has yet to win StatSheet MAAC Player of the Week.
